Portland Waterfront Living is please to support our four-legged friends around Portland.  The image below is from a page in our newsletter that goes out to over 1,800 waterfront residents in Dunthorpe, John's Landing, Sellwood, South Waterfront and Riverplace.

I am happy to support such a good idea and cause linked to helping both people and pups. pdxdog.com is committed to working collaboratively with other organizations and groups to leverage sometimes limited resources for greater gain.

When I walk around Portland with Ellie, my Golden Retriever, I see too many homeless people and dogs. It breaks my heart and I wonder what happens to both the person and the pup. It's always upsetting.

I hope that this food drive begins to create a city-wide awareness that Portland's Pups count too and with an increase in home foreclosures and widening economic problems that we always remember that our dogs need food and shelter too.
