Miles for Smiles on KATU - September 18th

The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Oregon, in partnership with Alaska Airlines, KATU and PortlandWaterfront.com has set out to reach the goal of raising two million miles to give flight to wish kids in Oregon and SW Washington who are battling life-threatening medical conditions.
About 75% of wishes are travel-related, and if your miles are about to expire, the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Oregon can use them without expiring!
Tune in to KATU Channel 2 on Thursday, September 18, and donate your Alaska Airlines frequent flier miles to help local children’s wishes. Debora Knapp, anchor of KATU, will host the Miles For Smiles promotion on the 18th during AM Northwest and newscasts at Noon, 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. Debora, a volunteer wish granter for the organization, will interview local children and their families who have been impacted by a wish experience.
